One of my projects for this year is to program a series of trail routes for groups in Central Asia, on BMW F 800 GS and F 700 GS. Doesn’t sound bad, huh?
The end of 2021 has been a harbinger of an unusual, very pleasant and interesting start to the year. I have a theory that crossing borders opens the barriers of our minds. An idea that already seems very stimulating to me, and that gives me enthusiasm to carry out a series of new and exciting projects.
I’m still in Kyrgyzstan, soaking up its culture, which never ceases to surprise me. An important part of the knowledge we acquire about a culture comes from the time we spend in the place where it is preached. It is clear that spending two weeks in a place is not the same as two months, which is how long I have been here. I still don’t know how much longer I will stay in Central Asia. Quite a mystery to me. I am happy to know that the passing of the years, for the moment, does not alter my passion for knowing different places calmly, savoring every moment. During my nomadic days, the simplest things transform into exponentially more powerful experiences.
Too much time
These last two years, due to the global situation generated by Covid, I have not set foot on the sand of Morocco. It has been difficult for me to accept that reality that has deprived me of something vital to me, which is the serenity and energy that the desert provides me. I miss it a lot, but we can always get something positive from every situation, and Kyrgyzstan is, without a doubt, the positive part.
GS routes through Central Asia
Since I moved to Morocco with my motorcycle to live a life in its desert, my obsession has been that the riders who accompany me on motorcycle tours perceive the sensations with the excitement that an adventure of this caliber deserves. One of my projects for this year is to program a series of trail routes for groups in Central Asia, on BMW F 800 GS and F 700 GS. Doesn’t sound bad, huh? Reserve a week or two this summer to ride in spectacular places and enjoy a culture that I’m sure will surprise you.
